Who we are
Newton Rigg College, recently acquired by Askham Bryan College, offers a diverse range of subjects for land-based and land-related industries.  With two farms, extensive woodland, a horticultural unit, equine yard and school, access to a game and wildlife shoot and excellent outdoor facilities, the college is well placed to offer courses in agriculture, equine and animal management, countryside and land management, engineering, horticulture and a range of more general studies.  There will be a £2.4 million investment at Newton Rigg College to develop the farms and facilities available, enabling further courses to be added.
Askham Bryan College has centres in York, Guisborough, Middlesborough, Scarborough, Bradford, Wakefield, Thirsk, Harrogate and Bedale.
