Hartpury College

Who we are
Hartpury College is an outstanding provider of equine care, animal science, agricultural and land management courses, sports science, food technology and related courses. One of only 3 specialist land-based colleges nationally to recognised as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, the college has grown dramatically over the last twenty years and is now home to over 3000 students, from school pupils at Key stage 4 to Masters students. We pride ourselves on our portfolio of programmes which provides you with the best choices and the qualifications you need to realise students’ full potential.
We place great emphasis on the quality of our teaching, with qualified and experienced staff. The investment (£45M over the last 20 years) in our campus gives access to innovative and modern equipment, facilities, and buildings. This includes the recently opened £3.1M Agriculture teaching centre, a £4.3M equestrian complex and a £2M investment in dairying. This investment gives us great satisfaction that we are providing you with the necessary skills to find employment in an increasingly competitive working environment.
We provide our students with the ability to study to a very high standard, and the opportunity to develop and gain life skills.
How we operate
The college is committed to developing staff and student opportunities and as such we approach all development opportunities flexibly.
