International Fertiliser Society Brian Chambers Award 2016

After a successful first year, the International Fertiliser Society is again running the Brian Chambers award. For 2016 the scheme has been finessed to enable early career researchers working in either academic or extension organisations to take part.

Information on who can enter, how to enter, and how to win is available on the IFS website, and also in the attached flyer. Information about the entrants and winners in 2015, including interviews, can be viewed here.

If you are an early career researcher, I do hope that you decide to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to help advance your career – and potentially win the £1,000 first prize, or one of the two runner prizes of £500 each. If you are unable to enter, perhaps you could circulate this among your friends.

The deadline for submissions is 15 September 2016, so now is the time to start preparation.

If you know anyone who works or studies in either a relevant faculty or extension organisation, please forward this e-mail to them, so that they have the chance to benefit from it.

If you have any queries about this award scheme, please contact me.

Kind Regards
